Today’s training session brought to you by the letters H-E-L-L...Not much time so Heather and I banged out three sets of 10 on barbell squats with rounds of hanging leg raises in between. After that was sled pushes up and down, starting with a 20kg weight working down in 5kg increments until it was just the sled. Then worked back up to 20kg in 5kg increments. In between each round of sled pushes was a 30sec round of skipping. 1min rest in between the combo push/skip rounds. Then three 2min rounds of boxing, with hanging leg raises, weighted side-to-sides, and 60sec skipping in between the boxing. rounds. It was all able to be done fairly quickly keeping the heart rate well up and the body moving. If that sounds hard, it was. But I always think after a session, “could I have pushed harder?” And the answer is usually yes. No matter what I do, I have to keep the mentality that it isn’t good enough. That’s fuel for the fire. And this fire is raging.
