When I got home today, i wanted to eat literally everything because I had a rough day at work (more below ). But I didn’t!! I had DIY pita chips with hummus, some salad, and a vegetable barley soup for 6️⃣ SP! • • 🔸 DIY pita chips with hummus (3 SP - I don’t count the hummus ) 🤷🏽‍♀️ 🔸 Salad with dressing (1 SP ) 🔸 Vegetable barley soup (2 SP ) 😍 • • So as my job, I teach parents and caregivers behavioral interventions for children with disabilities. Normally, it’s super rewarding and I learn a lot and bond with the kiddos. However, I’ve been working on this really difficult case, and today I made the decision to rake myself off the case. My kiddo just got a new aide who is non-compliant with the treatment plan, and my supervisor left, so it would just be me on my own little ABA island. Long story short, I’m really sad because my kiddo really needs our services, but I can’t provide skill transfer if the caregivers don’t want it.
